Clean out your cookies and refresh the forum then go to the gallery and do the same.
Login to the gallery first then use the top menu to go to the forum and login to that second. This should work.

Yeah I'm aware that we're allowed to post NPA stuff on the boards.
It's just that I'm slightly annoying with dump threads in many
places. In particular stuff like this because it's more just an advert
saying "please buy this game" than a progress thread or anything
informative. I didn't really know how to express what I meant a
few days ago (still not super clear, I guess) plus there's an obvious
conflict of interest which makes things messy.

What I guess it comes down to, though is me feeling like I wanna
post my stuff. But I also feel like there should be stricter guide-
lines about what a promo-thread (which is what these are, really)
would have to do to still be acceptable as a regular forum post.
And it feels disingenuous/hypocritical to post my own sh*t and then
start telling others they're not to do as I do but do as I say.

Long story short; I think there ought to be a discussion on such
threads and I'm feeling kind of iffy posting my work right now.

I think it's different if you're a regular member and have an honest connection with the people you're sharing your life with. The different between you and someone else is that we actually care about what you're doing(or at least more than someone who we don't know anything about).

There has been a shocking and appalling lack of getting jiggy wid it in this topic as of late. Hope this remedies the situation.

I needed to rate like 50 more works to achieve level 2 and be able to vote in the public queue.

And yeah I was kind of half aware of that button. I didn't think of it last night but I've used it several years ago I think. But it's not very good at actually keeping track. It gets my current request done, though.

Also, I can only vaguely remember those average scores and the extra rating boxes. Isn't that kind of unbalanced though? I mean, if cure was the only rater of a certain piece, it could get a 9 out of 5...

I don't really care for pot, nor gold. Alcohol and silver are more my things ;)

Hang on, so ranking is based purely on total accrued squares? That would explain why the gallery is stagnant, the oldest winners keep accruing squares but a new piece that gets a week long of 5-blocks isn't enough to break through the barrier.

How many votes do average pieces receive after a weeks time?

How about ranking for the entire year or better yet, specifying the start and end date, which is what I meant.

Hello people have Happy New Year yesterday!

I dont really do resolutions, instead I have a long evolving document of goals and such. It's mostly been work focused the past few years, this year I'm going to take the first batch of my licensing exams and work on a portfolio. Also in 2014 I lived my biggest, best, crazy-coolest travel dream, so now I need to figure out where else I want to go and what I want to do and start to save up and plan for it. Any ideas?

Or you'd die on the streets.

For a long while now I've wanted to go to Morocco and walk/sleep in the desert. Maybe this year? Also I kind of want to buy a Volvo Amazon and drive all the way around the Mediterranean in it - but that's not gonna happen soon.

Have you heard of Macchu Picchu (probably) and Salar de Uyuni(less likely)? Also quite interesting places.

Oh no I would have a plan of sorts, with hotels and a rough schedule and a car instead of a backpack, just seems like a relatively efficient way of visiting all countries like Spain, Morocco, Egypt, Greece, Italy and all in between.

By travel around the U.S. you mean backpacking through the states or working a year in a state and then moving on? Because backpacking is backpacking, still. =P
