I'm looking for an experienced pixel artist who's willing to teach me how to become a pixel artist and be able to create gif. files. Not paid but very appreciated!

Why not just use all of the resources that are up?

They teach you everything you need to know!

Also just looking at different artwork of pixels will be very helpful. Once you decide to dive in and start pixeling you can share you works in progress and many artist will be there to help.
