A small indie team is being formed to create a game based on the popular band Pomplamoose. It will be a retro inspired, 2.5D, side scrolling, musical, beat ‘em up, with platformer elements. We are aiming to release on PC, Mac, and Linux through digital distribution platforms such as Steam.

We are looking to fill the artist positions with talented 2D artists, who are experienced with sprite creation and animation. Experience with the Unity engine is a plus. If you are not familiar with the Unity engine, but feel you could quickly become proficient with it, then you may be a good fit for our team.

The artist will be responsible for the design and creation of all art assets in the game, as well as have creative input on other areas of the project throughout its development

The plans for funding are to use Patreon, which is an ongoing crowd funding website, rather than a lump sum crowd funding website like Kickstarter. The production costs will come from the gross amount of the crowd funding, while net profit from Patreon and the sales will be divided equally among the team.

We’re planning for the team to move on to additional projects, after the game’s release, so we are not looking for one-time contractors, but permanent team members.

We are located in Washington state, and would prefer our artists to be local, but it is not a requirement.
