Here's my first idea :



I love bunnies. Fluffy and cute bunnies!
But I can't stand the presence of a bed bug in my room... So let me introduce the Bed Bugnny! (That stupid name is temporary!)

I am not sure what kind of animal I like the most.
Maybe I'll just go for cats.

But spiders are kinda creepy (spider phobia)

Not me, I actually like every animal except spiders, mosquitoes (who does?), and a few other bugs. And that raccoon looks really cute when it steals some of cats' food <3

More progress. I did the head and just begun doing some of the wing. I think I'll be using just the colors I currently have, maybe I'll add more to the palette if I need to.

This makes me want to make a racoon-kangaroo mix.

Maybe add some highlights on fur, legs and posterior? I don't know if you already tried this though, I can't tell if you did since your explanation isn't very clear to me when it comes to knowing stuff you already tried.

I don't know if I'm going to make it, since this whole week I haven't really worked on this.
I'm not really good with wings and stuff (but I did try looking at a reference image) so please tell me if something's wrong.

Looks great, PCecile. Very disgusting. I feel like it would look even better if the 'belly' was a bit thicker. Right now, the head looks a bit too big for its body.

The head also looks a little bit pillowshaded to me. Judging by the feet and the rest of the body, I guess the light source is below, so maybe the head should show that better.

@PCecile I loved the colors you used. I just think that the texture of the fur under the wings could be a little more smooth. The wings are great too.

So I've done the belly a little bit bigger, the head a little bit smaller and the fur a little bit smoother.

But now I have a problem, Photoshop is telling me I'm using 28 colors but.. currently I only see 12 (13 with transparency)



How can I do? Is it a real problem for the challenge?

Edit : problem solved! Added some few colors so there are 19 now

I caught wind of this challenge a bit too late, so wasn't able to get more than some meagre stratchings down between my other commitments. Will get in on the next one.

Not meant to be: the combination of the vile possum w/ the amazing sea slug/nudibranch. Sea Posslug!
