App Rapidly 'We build your app... faster' Hello Pixel Joint artists! I represent a US based business, App Rapidly. We work with our clients to rapidly develop their applications. We're still a relatively small business and are looking for artists (and programmers/sound producers). job descriptions We build projects for clients and in the 'down time' groups work on their own small apps to publish with App Rapidly. expectations: You will be expected to work well in teams and communicate regularly with client managers. You also must agree to the revenue sharing model; 40% to programmers, 40% to artists and 20% to audio, admin(client managers etc.) and marketing. A decent time commitment is expected as our clients have deadlines. work from home. Payment details: whether working for a client or building your own apps in a team, the revenue will be split the same (mentioned earlier). Working with clients, you will receive your cut of what the client pays. The minimum price for an application that is usually undertaken is $300, although, some apps do not require artists or sound designers, only programmers and will cost much less, a greater percentage of payment will be issued to the programmer in such a case. If you feel that your assignment is worth more pay (as more complex games might be), you can communicate with the client manager to request the price to be increased. The process: To ensure we hire serious developers, we go through a recruitment process: 1.You send me a message with a link to your work (portfolio) 2.I assess your skills based upon your work ( bonus points for jam games) 3.If your work is adequate, I will get back to you and ask a few questions. 4.You will be placed in a test team, in which you will be expected to work with your team mates to develop a phone application/game as quickly as possible. If you work effectively and efficiently to complete your part of the work (and you can prove it) but your team mates do not, you will not be penalized. 5.Our manager and CEO, Josh, will judge your effectiveness after this for final approval. Our programmers use Game Maker: Studio at the moment to make these applications, although, this probably won't affect you. This job is not a significant time commitment, only a few hours may be required each week to complete your part in tasks (depending on the size of the tasks and speed at which you work).
