Been working on some top down graphics for a small project im working on but not sure if it looks right, i kind of like it but other times i dont, was just looking for your guys oppinions or suggestions on it
The door isnt mine just a placeholder at the moment

It probably looks weird because the scene is supposed to have all this
depth because it's top down but it ends up looking flat. The scene is
pretty featureless and it's even hard to tell whether the character is standing on a bunker or writhing in a dungeon.
![]() Doesn't the brick pattern both liven up the walls and help your perspective and depth? It doesn't necessarily have to be bricks, of course, but still something that obeys your perspective, like bricks that keep diminishing the farther away they are from eye. The 'top' and walls are very overpowering. Both could use some thinning.
