Hey everyone,

Looking for an artist that would be willing to work on making sprite sheets for an overhead RPG.  I'm willing to pay about 80-120 dollars for this work, and it will be done in different tasks.

I'm looking for sprites that are styled such as this (Alys from Phantasy Star 4)

but overall size wise, are dimensioned like this (32x48px, from Character Maker XP)


Overall, I'd hope for an emphasis over quantity over quality - I'd like to have assets that look decent and I have the rights to.  I'm developing an app as a proof-of-concept that has to look good but not the best.

Requirements:
Uses DawnBringer's 32-bit palette
Limited shading (see Alys's sprite from PS4, it's not nearly as dithered/shadowed as the second sprite)

Stage 1:
Work on generic sprites, for townpeople and such in the overhead RPG style.  Men, women, maybe children all drawn in a simple clothing style, to be used as generic filler on a map or to be used as a template for other sprites.

Stage 2:
Work on a sprite sheet for the main character that mimics the sheets above, in the overhead RPG style.  I need a guy and girl variation of this character depending on the sex the person chooses in game.

This stage also needs the character design to be applied to this sprite sheet (but not all of it). I will pay the majority of the amount of money that we agree upon completion of this stage.

Stage 3:
Sprites of one-off characters.  Can be based on the generic sprites made in stage 2, but serve a special purpose.  E.g., generic town man needs to be turned into a heavy set bartender that will only appear in one town.  A woman in a split red dress, etc.

I will give you credit for your work in the app when it's finished, and you're free to reuse the generic sprites for any other purpose as well, including selling them or reusing them for other projects.
