   Hi guys,

I haven't done any pixel art for a year or two now so I'm pretty rusty (Not to mention I wasn't much chop back when I did it :P ). 

Anyway, I thought I'd make myself a new tumblr pic using pixel art.  It's a samurai dog, yeah, don't ask XD

I'm trying to keep it small enough to keep the real pixelled look but big enough to have some detail but it's not going too well.  My AA skills have died and I just don't seem to be able to be able to add sufficient detail in the current 32*32 size.  

Any suggestions or advice?

P.S. Yes, it'll be scaled up in size later.

	I think you might find some benefit can be taken out of softening or removing lines inside the outline itself. Things like the crest take up a lot of space in an image this small, especially with an outline! Remember, you're drawing a 3D object. Choose a definite light source (or light sources), and follow them closely. Other than that, this is really cute.
