Hello dear Pixeljoint community
At first im grateful that there are artists like you, making graphics for Indie-developers like me. I am 23, studying (media) computer-science in Ulm, Germany. I am experienced in Coding and Gaming and have already created little games, so this is my first bigger Project aside from a Browsergame in which I created the GUI and modeled some 3D-Artworks.

The game
This is a TBS (Turn Based Strategy) game which is pretty much like "Mechanized Assault & Exploration".
This means that you have a TopDown perspective
and a grid in which your units and buildings dwell on.
The game will look similiar to the example given above or the images underneath.
It will play in the future in a not earth-like environment.

What do I have
At the moment ive implemented the basic framework of the game, plus the pathfinding and the ability of certain units to build buildings.
For testing Im currently using the graphics of the game M.A.X. but i cannot use them forever.

My Needs
I am certainly able to create a decent GUI plus Icons and with lots of effort I would be able to create the sprites myself, but they wouldnt be neither good looking nor will be the time spent worth it.

That is why I need a decent Pixelartist who is able to draw decent looking sprites for the game Im so in love with!

They dont need to be perfect. If youre able to see that this one is a tank and this one is a constructor-unit Im fine with that. As long as they are improveable if needed.

Coming to the details:
One square is 64x64 big, that means a unit is a little bit smaller than that,
but a small building pretty much fills that square. A big building is 128x128 big (Youll see examples in images I have attached below).
I will need sprites of a little less than 30 units (ground, air and later naval, without infantry) and approxemately sprites of 30 buildings, while a unit is able to move in 8 directions and a building shows that its active through animation which only be lights getting brighter and less brighter.
Also I need a tileset for a map which will contain a minimum of 14 tiles.
There will also be a need for effects like explosions, smoke and projectiles. Those will be around 15 spritesheets.
You already might have assumed that i want to use more realistic, 'earthed' colors and a rather sci-fi style in both units/buildings and surroundings. The units and buildings may look a little bit rusty/recycled or steampunk-like.

The Artist
Id rather want a partner who will love and create the game with me together than someone who wouldnt identify himself/herself with the game. If there is revenue, what is my goal, the artist will be paid, of course. We are in no hurry so it would be okay if you only commit 2 hours a week. But ill be sure to motivate you in a way that youll fall in love with the game, too! :)

Now thanks for your attention, if you have questions or if youre interested in me or the game ask here or write me a PM!
If you think this is far too much to be unpaid, let me know as well!
