Or if you wish to keep it minimalist then at least put down the bamboo
mat floors for texture, a rock garden in the kitty litter box, and a
tray with a tea cup for interest. Good idea by the way. I wish I had
thought of it.

Looks nice. Try changing the wall colors a little bit. The color now is
from the template. It can be light and pale, just different than the
template.

Fugitive, I didn't make myself clear so I took the liberty to show rather than explain.
The color pallette you have been using is very bland and is based on the colors in the template. Your light source is also incorrect and this illustration shows the correct one. Also, where the screen meets the corner your version is flat, I added depth to it. I really like this room and would like for you to make it awesome. I changed all the colors from your version yet the overall "lightness" remains. I would like for you to rework the colors to suit you rather than use mine and submit it.   Edited by jalonso |

to tell ya the truth - i dont see anything wrong with his original light source.
all you did was move it - he had his to the left, and you moved it to the right. also about the whole "Also, where the screen meets the corner your version is flat" thing... The reason why it didn't meet the corner perfectly is because the floor is dipped down lower than whats usually done. Thats why he has the whole stairs thing going on. |

Indigo, The joint templates
all have the light source (top right) as I noted, Fugitive did (top
left). I do think that is important/critical to observe. I made a few
pieces for the joint so I feel somewhat familiar with the light source
there.

Ah, i understand now... i thought you were saying his lightsource was inconsistant. I wouldn't know about where the lightsource is in the joint, since i haven't observed the place all too much
