We're in need of a talented pixel artist who can create retro 8bit graphics for a fun metroidvania game.

The game is about an aging soldier named Reggie trying to make it to one of the last cities on earth after his helicopter crashes in the woods and he finds himself surrounded by a race of brutal evolved humans called The Primals.

Features include:

Crafting: Weapons, ammo, and items will be scarce. It's up to the player to fill in the gaps by crafting their own.

Pack AI: The Primals will group up and hunt the player.

"Forest Fire": The player's helicopter going down caused a forest fire, and now the fire slowly engulfs the levels until the player either escapes or dies.

Permadeath: You've got one chance to make it to the city, if you fail then you restart the game and pray you can reach safety next time.

Unique Barter: Instead of trading money for goods, the player trades items that can be used for crafting instead. But be careful! There is a very limited amount of items and some can be used for more than one thing.
