I am starting with this pixel art thing and because I would like to do a game of a spanish conqueror in America. The fact is that pixel art is not as easy as I thought and creating a character is really difficult. Does somebody here have tutorials for doing characters in Pixel art?

If you also have a sprite of a spanish conqueror it woud be really helpfull. I would not use it in my game I just need it to learn doing characters.
