Hey guys,

Its been maybe a year since I last dropped by pixel joint, and when I did it was to pake part in the WIP threads. Ive been doing pixel art on and off since forever.

A while ago I made some software called CtPaint, which is basically just a clone of MSPaint that runs in your web browser. Its available at ctpaint.us. Since then its been my primary tool for doing pixel art.

I think I am going to take this to the next level and build a business around in-browser image editting. I plan on launching a kickstarter in a month or two. Aside from making a really robust and simple image editor; I would like build a seamless connection from CtPaint to social media like twitter and facebook, and also, build out a deep workspace so you can save, share, and collaborate on drawing projects.

Anyway, Im making this for you. I would love to learn, and work from your thoughts on pixel art software. What software do you use? What do you like about it? What dont you like about? Do you like MS Paint? Any thoughts are welcome.

Thank you,
-Chadtech

A browser application is very useful for being available on every computer connected to internet. No download/install required, support all OSes, and much less security risks than running random executables.

Hey guys,

Im moving forward with this project. Last week I worked with some guys to film a kickstarter video on my project.

Would anyone of you guys be interested in trying out the current version of CtPaint I have available, for a little money? Id like to get:

0 some really thorough feedback, about what you like in pixel software and what you dont like about CtPaint.

and 1; A few drawings (of anything you want really) just to demonstrate that CtPaint is useable; that might end up in my kickstarter video.

My email is chadtech0@gmail.com

Best,
