| So... Any suggestions for the leaves, particularly for lighting and shading? I want to make them look 3d, but the 3 shades of green don't seem enough for me; the contrast between the lightest shade and the midtone seems a tad bit too much and I feel like I need a buffer of some sort to soften it. Likewise, the contrast between the lightest shade of green and yellow seems much and I don't know what to use as a buffer. I've tried light blue but it does nothing, orange clashes, grey also clashes... I'm using the cream color right below the orange color in the palette by default, but it looks a little weird and I'm looking to replace it if that's possible. If all else fails though, I'll try to work with just the 3 shades of green I have. | |

 @Eggy; the leaves look good but you're not limited to greens when it comes to toning a green. Especially on darker parts; you can use any dark color, red, blue or gray. Your leaves right now only need darks. @Zedoff; going good.

| I think I'll call this done, please tell me if there are any issues EDIT: Also, my forum theme seems to have changed from light blue to something dark gray. Does anyone know why has it changed to a dark gray theme? I use the default theme and appears as the standard blue when I'm logged out (and that was what it looked like at all times until recently), which is what I'm very used to... | |

 Updated everything. @Eggy; did you see my latest update of the ship tile where I added cannons and a black line to separate the floor of the ship? @Zedoff; the people are still small but acceptable. @moondrome; I think you moved the tile to up left overall, the borders are a little strange, also 2 wrong colors.

 @Gecimen
As a matter of fact, no. I guess that means I must add a black line and a cannon or two then! Will do that whenever I can

 Can i have #32? heres a quick wip for what I'm planning (ther'es a lot of help lines, you can ignore them). I'm kinda new to pixel art but I think/hope I'll manage it. This tile seemed easy since most of it's already been "defined" by the surrounding tiles.
 Also, when I did the WIP I noticed that the colours in #25 are a bit off. It's most obvious in the purple used on the top plank, but I think most of them are just a little wrong (I didn't check all of them). Idk if it's worth fixing since it's not that obvious but jsyk. (Or maybe it's my computer that's wrong...)

| Oh no... but yeah I noticed while continuing on the tile that my own colours seem to change during painting (I'm left with random clusters while using the fill bucket) :/ I use paintbrush + I'm wondering if my use of f.lux has anything to do with it? But it seems weird that it should actually change the colours in another program. I'll continue investigating and I guess I'll finish the tile in some other program to make sure everything's right :P | |

 @CuriousBeefJerky you probably need black outlines to make your characters readable. Either that or remove all outlines to try and mimic the cel-shading.
I would also try to minimize the amount of single pixels in the water to make it less noisy, in fact I think you might just want to transition it into a flat blue color, like the water in the game! @Polyducks Is it complete? that looks very low-effort compared to your two other beautiful tiles!

 Sorry for the delay I'm on vacation atm. @curiousbeefjerky: it's going good, you can soften the white highlight on the boat. @polyducks: the character can really use some shades. added it into the image for now but it will need improvement.

Yeah, I really struggled with artist's block through this one and just pushed it off my desk and into the forum. I think I'm going to redraw it from scratch. Not pleased with it at all.

| update on #32! I've been super busy so this i mostly to say I'm still on it. I'm gonna try to fix a better program for making this, since I'm painfully realising I really need layers :( (any tips on good programs 4 mac are rly appreciated) To the left are some ideas for things to add but I think I'm doing all of this in the wrong order haha :/ Anyways the seagulls are both too big I think but I kinda like the crow. | |

 Huh for real? Then it is 100% Imgur messing them up. Because I went out of my way to double-check and save it in a different program this time to avoid corruprion. I will post a new version as soon as i get the chance,
