I sent this back because it is very unrefined, and does not show much control on pixel level. For example, the grass is very scribbled and a lot of the lines are very jaggied.

There is nothing wrong with this, and all this is a style choice. However, in this form it sadly has no place in the PJ gallery. The same actually goes for your other piece which was until now in the queue. It is borderline pixel art, but ultimately shows too little single pixel control to be accepted in the gallery.
