Hi, I'll try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. Looking for a pixel artist to jump in and help me create a homage to the Treasure / Capcom style side on shooters of yesteryear.

I am a pretty experienced game developer (over 8 years developing casual browser games) and to show that I am not messing around I have thrown together a proof of concept game play video made up of place holder assets to help communicate the look and feel I'd we'd be going for (some of the assets in this demo are royalty free, some not so royalty free lol, but this isn't for commercial use or available to the public, it's merely an example to hopefully attract a good artist to replace these assets).

The game is essentially a cross between some classic Treasure shooters (Gun Star Heroes and Alien Soldier) and a little bit of Capcom's arcade hit Super Pang. However hopefully the game play video does a good job of getting across the basics of the type of game this will be (I can go into further detail with any interested parties).

I'd be looking to partner up and do a revenue share with this project, depending on the quality of the game (lol and how good any artist that comes on-board is) there would be a number of options available, ranging from funding via a publisher, to crowd-funding, to self publishing. Again the best option will become clear very quickly based on the quality of the game. Initially I'd just be looking to get this first demo level done (essentially something the size of what you see in the linked video plus one final boss encounter).
