You have to use the URL of the image ( https://i.imgur.com/MHCx77p.png ) to post it. If you use the URL of the webpage it's on, it won't work. The shadows are fine (if a bit inconsistent in their colour relative to the lit areas). Are you looking for more dramatic lighting? If so, consider having the light source lower, so that the shadows are longer. It might also be more visually interesting to have the light come from somewhere other than in front of the characters, so that the shadows are cast a bit to the side.

Ultimately the perspective of the ground layout is flawed and this is the main cause of the odd look.
I would recommend studying One point or Two point perspective. Doesn't take long to grasp :) |
