Ubuntu Studio is an official flavor of Ubuntu Linux, designed for creating multimedia content.

PikoPixel is a free, easy-to-use pixel-art editor for Mac/Linux/BSD.

The new release of Ubuntu Studio, "Cosmic Cuttlefish" 18.10, adds PikoPixel as a default graphics application:
