Updates for now...but I have some problems with the big alien and the shadows on the ground.

![]() It's difficult to maintain the standards of the others tiles. ;)

In my opinion the big alien is good. To make sure of its ISO
correctness, try to make a small test. Connect both shoulders top
points, both knees and tips of the toes of both feet with straight iso
line 2:1 and if those points are not on the same line, make some
corrections. I think that the right (his left) leg is too high. Small
aliens appear very flat, while your stones are nicely 3-dimensional.
Maybe you could apply similar technique to those alien heads. I
don't understand the portal. It doesn't look ISO to me. Looks like an
oval in straight side view, slightly rotated to the left. I think maybe
becasue you were constructing the isometric circle outline, but the
pattern inside is flat. I think that few adjustmets to make that spiral
in same projection will be enough. I'm sure someone more competent than me will
help you with that. In case of centipede leg I was
talking about the first, thicker segment, not the second, thin one (I think that the thin one was ok on the previos WiP). The top leg is pointing almost north/up, and the leg we are talking
about is pointing west/left, so please look at those two black lines on ISO
square: Both lines are "in reality" of the same lenght, but the one pointing north appears as shorter than the one pointing west. Your legs are the other way around. |

@PC pixel, the left most alien is too flat, try to make it in a similar manner to the one lower. You don't make a 3D object isometric by tilting it. That's how you make 2D shapes isometric.

Yeah I guess I'll redo the ground a bit haha. Your (WIP) tile helps me a lot PC PIXEL because I have to have more grass in my tile now and I think it's much easier to draw here :) |

PS: I checked now and the problem is not in the feet but in the entire legs, they are as long as the arms and that is because it feels weird. I have to restart... But the rest of the alien is ok. Maybe you could apply similar technique to those alien heads. Yeah, they are not finish because I was deciding the right colours of the other alien and in base on that I would have finish them. The stones are only a copy of the vierbit work... I

I don't wanna do a look that is not what was you thinking.

@PC PIXEL I enjoy the scale of your tile and I love the lil metal slug aliens. But you're not shading according to the light source. You are lighting your alien as if he was a flat piece of paper. I did a quick paint over, I hope that is okay? Be mindful of 3d shapes. There's also a lot of banding and pillow shading in your sprite. Correcting the light source will help with that as well. It's a cool tile but some more dramatic lighting could help sell the portal even better.

Ok...after a week this is the result... ![]() I hope I fixed the major issues and positioned the shadows correctily. Originally posted by Eggy Hey, sorry for no progress again - college has just started again and I've lately found myself occupied by other things (mostly getting interested in the art of sewing), but I'd still like to keep working on my tile Sewing is difficult...I can barely sew a broken button in my shirts. But if you like pixel art and sewing you have to try embroidery. I don't know the corrects words in english but in italian they are called "quadri con ricamo a mezzo punto" and there are literally pixel art made in cotton string.

Like a total noob (because I am, this is my first ISO contribution), I created this forgetting that I had to use a specific palette:

But then I swapped to the correct colors:
I think I'm done! |

Hello laydya, it's really cool. Could you perhaps refine the water texture a little more? (Not a must but would do a lot of good to the tile).

Oh hey I just remembered that I have a tile that I haven't touched up with a few additional elements as I promised because I forgot >->

Looking at it, I think it looks complete enough to be considered done. I wanted to add a couple of people (particularly Edison Trent and/or Jun'ko Zane) but I'm finding myself coming up short on ideas at this time, so if possible I'd like to declare this finished. I might do an update later down the road if I get any ideas.

Hello Eggy. Maybe adding some shadow of that ship would not take much time? Wherever you place it it will show how high above the ground the ship is. I think this could be the thing that is missing from the tile, and adding shadow will make it feel much more complete in my opinion.

Gecimen, maybe you could install Irena’s tiles in pink mode so if someone would be interested in neighbour tiles would more or less know what to expect?

@gawrone I add tiles in pink when I think the borders are complete. In this case it could be a little misleading.

I've saw that frozen superman #9 tile is dangerously out of scale compared to the neighbour vierbit tile, so I edited it a bit. I think it will not look so different now. ![]() |

   I'd like #30 assuming it's still available.

Hello Esven. If you want, you can use those however you like as base for your continuation of the shuttle.

Tile #30. I might go back and touch some things up later but for now I'll just call it finished.

Edit: Had to reupload because I was using #FFFFFF as white instead of the pallet's #F4F3DE. |
