Pixel Joint Forum: What has happened to Jalonso?

   Hi all,

I've been trying to find any sign of activity of Jalonso but the last several years it looks like he's off the grid.

I emailed him for a job offer (I am the developer of Gleaner Heights and would very much like to make a game based on his Medici mockups) but got no reply.

If anyone knows his whereabouts (reddit? discord? an asylum?) let me know!

	We've tried reaching him...to no avail, as far as I know. We hope for the best, but fear the worst. :(

	Oooh this is sad :( jalonso's art is amazing, perhaps the first time I ever wanted to bring someone else's game mockup to life. Thanks for the heads up, DB.

	That's the ten million dollar question. He hasn't just disappeared off the grid but won't even respond to text messages from his closest friends. As DB said many of us just assume the worst at this point because jal is in his 70's.

Is he considered a missing person by people who knew him personally or (at the very least) by proper authorities?

	I don't think 'offline' counts as a missing person. I know of multiple people who have disappeared online for years, but who were fine in their normal life. Including an active pixel art community moderator actually (not on PJ) who suddenly disappeared for years. Jalonso was in some ways very private and we did not have many means to contact him outside of PJ. Together with some others I tried to puzzle together his identity from the few things we knew, but to no success. There is nothing more that can be done.
