Hello All I plan to create "Video Tutorials".This topic's Purpose is to recruit people to help me and give me suggestions :).I will show a general/beta order of how my tutorial will work.
--=sub category Creating Sprites using Paint 1.Introduce Sprites(In Depth) --Isometric and Non Isometric(Difference and what it is) --Views used(Top Down,Side View,Isometric) --Useful Tips and Tricks to remember(when spriting) --Spriting Resources 2.Creating your first Sprite --I will show a example of how to create a correct circle and incorrect cirle.Also I will show the first way to "Shade".Pillow Shading(Yes I know it isnt good but I want to cover everything. --I will go into detail with other techniques used with more examples Thats all I have for now expect more soon.I am not a good spriter myself yet but I need some help with examples.I will give credit and last but not least I will show my example video. I also think that the "look and feel" is somewhat dull. Your text is very AA, turn the AA OFF in the edit menu and use static text so that the text is sharp (place on whole pixels). Also actionscript the 1st frame of your video to play in "low quality" it won't affect anything and will make all your art "Pixel" quality. ![]() The control movie clip should go to step 1 when pressed not the splash screen, actually you may not have gotten to this as nothing works right here. I did not really inspect it but when you are working in this project proof-read work since typos (caught 2) will only make it look silly. Keep up the good work. |

Yes this is really good. Very nice controls and beautiful interface. Interesting and easy to read through. :)
Is there gonna be a step through animation creation? I think its a very hard concept, lots of people have trouble knowing how many frames is ideal, or which frames to use and discard. =) Keep it up |

Thanks Alot I plan to really get moving on it this weekend.Also I personally know a great spriter Indigo who has created a wonderful animation tutorial which I will incorparate into this video :).
