Acknowledging this is a little unconventional but, 505 Games are looking far and wide to hunt down an exceptional pixel artist & animator to work on a brand new title that's early in development.

Job Spec
As with all early in development projects, I am limited in divulging much information until an NDA is signed. The successful applicant will be required to help produce multiple animations for multi-layered character sprites that cover everything from hairstyles to weapons, armour and tools. Depending on the applicant, this might also extend into other things.

Deadline
The project is early in development so the deadline is variable depending on what is decided between us an the applicant. This could either be deliverable based (x sprites/animations to be delivered by x time) or contract based (all work done before the contract expires). There is capacity for this to become a full time role should both parties feel it would be beneficial to the project.

Skills
The best frame of reference we really have at the moment would be something like Octopath Traveller.

As mentioned above, you would be required to produce character animations for clothing, weapons, tools etc..
Skills required would be character art, being able to translate an initial "master" turnaround image into frames that cover using that item while a character is doing any action, and from 8 directions.

We are using Aseprite.
