I find the best way to get skilled is study how other people use their techniques and try to apply it to your own work, of course not biting styles off of them, but simply doing things your own way, but trying new things. I'm sure you'll figure it out ;) |

The thing to do is start off slow and easy. First make some extremely simple pieces. Explore different types, like isometric and non - unless you already have a preference. Check out tutorials. Study other work. Through all this learning you'll eventually pick up the right techniques and then you'll be on your way.
