for some reason pixel joint wont accept my pixel art and all i want to know is why.

Nah, that was harsh actually. Um, you really should spend more time over it, add some more contrast, at the moment the cat is 2d, give it some depth with your shading/highlighting. You must realise that having that fact that you 'like it' can't be an excuse to use up someones webspace.

here we like polished works showing at least some effort, and although I see your attempt, it needs some work

what i find works better than ANY tutorial is just to study great works.
how colours and techniques work together. rahter than wasting time
asking if there is tutorial for shading like brians av, why not zoom in
on it and see how it works. The piece is a tutorial in itself.
