Hey all,

I've been working on a 2D game engine ("GroZ2D") for a little under a year now - and the latest rewrite has pieced together in a very reusable way that I'm extremely happy with.

I'm looking to find one or two 2D artists to begin working on shareware / retail games.  The first of which would be a punch-out inspired arcade boxing game.  The objective is to have a fully playable demo (with one or two opponents max) by the end of June.  The demo would then be used to garner feedback and shop around to potential publishers.

I'm very serious about forming a shareware company and expect you to be just as serious.

Compensation:
I can't (and won't) promise anything - but we'd obviously split any revenue.

Talent needed:
2D Artists - maturity and dedication is a must.  This is only for people serious about entering the shareware / retail market.

Please send me a link to your portfolio or sprite work examples.

Team structure:
Just me.  I'd be the coder and the designer (for the first game).  I'm an extremely down to earth person.  I realize the odds of making significant profit in the shareware market is small - but I'm also ambitious enough to step up to the plate and take a chance.

Website:
My "blog" - I use the term loosely because of how rarely I update.

Post here, private message or e-mail me: grozzler [at] grozzler [dot] com

Additional Info:
Below are a few shots from the engine.

Closing:
I can not stress enough how passionate I am about getting into the retail / shareware market and I expect you to be just as passionate.  If you feel that creating two (possibly three) fully animated sprites by the end of June (5 - 6 weeks) is unfeasible, please don't bother applying.

If I come off as a dick - I apologize.  I've dealt with too many people who were excited for the first three days, then added me to their ignore list.  Don't be one of those people.
