I only want to post two "ideas" about the points system. Maybe they have been mentioned before, so don't stone me on that. I guess no-one in charge will care, but here they go anyway :

 - Submission of pixelart should not be rewarded with 6 points by default, but depending on the average rating on the piece (so "bad" art gets less points...)

- Posting on the forum should also give points

I guess sedgemonkey has no need for wannabe-clever hints, since he might have enough good ideas himself, but to little time to implement all of them (I know that problem myself *sigh* ).

i think the rating idea is good... but then artists like st0ven and jaeden
will be at the top, even though they hardly spend any time here.

personally i find the forum to be more important than the main site...
thats why i spend so much time here.

I see. The point-system is supposed to create more community-action, but I knew that before already.

After the "average-rating-on-this-picture" - feature is implemented somewhen in the future, maybe additionally an "average-rating-on-all-pictures-from-this-member" would be the thing I think of - an indicator showing the artists skills (hope you get what I was trying to "put down in wooooords" ).
