DeviantART doesn't allow hotlinking. Upload it to an image host like PhotoBucket or ImageShack instead.

First of all, I'd make the canvas fit the actual image. The canvas is around twice the size of the actual image... this isn't a really good idea if you want to submit it to the main PJ gallery (which you seem to have already tried to do... please wait until it's actually finished before doing so).

And the iPod thing on the side of the building doesn't seem to be pixeled by hand, which is a big no-no in pixel art.

Because pixel art is about laying each and every individual pixel by hand. That's what makes pixel art pixel art.

yes, with pixel art EVERYTHING needs to be done by hand...  No and ifs or buts about it...  not only does it take away from the art itself, we, the pixel art community, will rip you apart for doing it 

besides, the only way to truley learn the art of thee pixel is to pixel everything, otherwise, whats the point of doing pixel art for the rest of the building?
