Sorry if this was the wrong section to post this in.
I remember seeing EasyToon as a pixeling software in the Software recommendation thread a while ago, and if I remember correctly it said something like "for inaccurate drawings, bulky animations". I've drawn some good pieces with the sofware, and here's one of them: ![]() It's nowhere near good as other quality pixel art, but shouldn't this still be counted as a pixel art? The thing was drawn carefully with 7x zoom, and while I do admit that not all frames were done "pixels by pixels", most of it was. Just a question. |

Although it is a quite good animation, even though you zoomed in it's still basically like "sketches". We like to call pixel art meticulously placing each and every pixel the way we want it, pixel by pixel.

Yeah, looks to me like this was done using the thick paint tool or whatever. It's a nice animation of course, i think if you cleaned up each frame it would be awesome, but of course it would take a heck of a while.
