Pixel Joint Forum: Leaving

Message

   The reason I signed up to this forum was so my work could be seen, Cus on other galleries and such, like Deviant Art, I've been signed up for a whole year, and only had 5 comments on my work.

So then I decide to join a forum to get my stuff seen.

Ok, it gets seen.

But the finished things I've been submitting I have been doing for some years and can't improve on it.

Oh, another reason I joined this forum was cus I thought I could get some praise for what I do.

But now I know the only place I have any chance of getting my work having praise is somewhere where people will never seen my work anyway. So I've decided to totally give up on submitting anything ever again.

Though I have decided to submit one more picture, as like a leaving pic, I did this last year.

And you can talk as much sh*t 'bout it as you like, cus I'm not going to this forum anymore after this.

	if you are making art only to recieve praise, you need to find a new medium to express yourself. Your art isn't as good as you may think it is. Think about it, 5 comments on dA, and nothing but crits here? 1+1=?? Just as well, this is a pixel joint community. So don't expect people to jump all over your vectors and give you praise on NPA stuff. Find yourself a community that DOES your type of art, not one that does the complete opposite.

	Sythius, like many of the other young members who join here, you don't understand how critisism works. We can't go on and say we love your work, even when we see there are ways to improve upon it. It's nothing personal, we're just doing our part as an art community. And i remember seeing Shark giving you some 'praise' earlier on in a thread which you kindly happened to ignore. Funny, isn't it.

	This is geared more toward other forum n00bs than Sythius and his personal issues. The forum regulars and irregulars are not here to c+c in detail an offer praise to all art posted. We are all busy on our own stuff and will usually only comment on glaring errors, or offer a suggestion here and there. Usually things not mentioned mean they are OK with the poster. The art poster should be aware that not all comments will be favorable and supportive regardless of skill level. Finally the attitude the original poster assumes will have a lot of influence on the type of c+c that is offered. Remember you are asking for a favor from people you do not know. Being pleaseant, courteous, funny and thankful seems to work best. @ Sythius, who will definetely be back to read this thread; Babies are only guatanteed praise from their Mommies!
