Pixel Joint Forum: Help with flash needed... [not anymore]

    God i am so agrovated right now. It's frigging boiling, i'm tired, my girlfriend is going to france for 2 weeks and i can't get my way around posting a message let alone do flash.

AAAAAH AND NOW IT ISN'T RETURNING...

Hmm, well, basically i had written out a huge several-paragraph post on what i needed help on and everything but it seems i clicked the wrong button and lost it all.

In short: I can't do what i've done so far with my bomb nav idea without flash, in flash. I want to because theres something annoying i know it wont do in flash if i did. Erm yes.

I've found some tutorials on how to make animated flash buttons, but they only deal with animations made in flash, and what i want to do involves importing a gif anim to use. Well, 8 of them.

1 left and 1 right still closed anim.
1 left and 1 right opening anim. (mouseover)
1 left and 1 right brain pulsing anim. (onclick)
1 left and 1 right closing anim. (for... er.. afterwards)

Oh yeah, and the non flash version is up on http://larwick.ensellitis.com if you wanna see.

Okay hum.. i think that's all the info you need for now. I probably missed alot out though.

Firstly, is this possible? And secondly, can anyone of you flash wizards help me? Expect severe thanks if you can.  And the thought of making a fellow pixel guy happy.

	Going the gif road may not quite get the smoothest effect. This is totally doable in Flash and get a very small size too. If you place the seperate movies in different layers and use the load clip commands for the menu. PM me if you need help Edited by jalonso - 17 July 2006 at 10:00pm
