Start some sort of Pixel Art School?

Something a bit more personal than tutorials where people thatare just beginning pixel art can learn (like me). It would be a lesson every few days with assignments and markings and tips given out, I think it would really help.

Feedback please.

I definately think it's a good idea but I'm not sure if there are many pixel artists who have time to commit to it.

I did something alike some time ago but now I marked it as 'impossible'.

I was in BtG's class and it would have worked, if all the lessons were pre planned and the class sizes were smaller.  Not to mention the forum it was on died twice durign the class.  I actually learned alot in the one lesson I got form you Brian.

Hopefully it was a lesson on exactly why penguins were awesome rather than actual pixel art.

If you think about it, using a forum to recieve critisism is like a very laid-back school... although they're still pretty strict when you fudd up. And you have to wait a while to get much response from the teachers. And some of the teachers are fairly useless :D

Well, I wouldn't mind hosting a forum for a pixel art school. I've already hosted Pixel Inc. before that ended and that was farely large. No real problems there.

But the teachers is the problem. I don't think I'm personally very qualified.
