This is my first fighter sprite so be nice.  I'm still not sure if he's proportional for King of Spriters or a little too big...but either way it's fun working on him.  The stance is a little weird, and I was going for one where he's not leaning back, to be honest, but that didn't work out.  I'm happy with the fact that I chose my own colors and they seem to work out.  Any crits as I go would surely help.

I want to make the left forearm and hand more masculine, but as far as I know that's the best I can do with muscles.  Hopefully I'll take a figure drawing class once I finish highschool.

I can post my original lines later if it matters.  C&C appreciated.

Overall, looks rather cool. That being said, I always have some thoughts.
He's got an awesome shirt. Unfortunately, it kinda ends awkwardly at his armpit. That would be a rather uncomfortable shirt, for it looks as if it is clinging tight to his armpit and ending abruptly there as well.
His arms are also incredibly thin as compared to his torso. Moreso than natural, in my opinion.
He's wearing incredibly girly shoes.
He has no face to speak of, and his lack of face isn't supported by his body. He looks human, 'cept for his head.

Yep, I think that's it.

Nice look so far but the pants look like they could use some AA or dithering.

His head looks freakishly turned around exorcist style. I'd give him a face.

Also, his belt shouldn't be straight across like that. Give it some curve!

Excellent shading and line art though. Can't wait to see this finished!

Well, I listed to your crits, and I was able to come up with this.  I couldn't improve the belt much, and the pants still don't seem to match everything else.  I tried to add curve, but couldn't find proper AA to blend it in, so it looked blocky.  I did add AA where it's needed, though, and the pants do look somewhat smoother.  The arms didn't seem thin to me, so I didn't change anything on them.  I don't plan on making this guy very bulky, anyway.  As for the face, I tried a bunch of variations, but it didn't look right, so this is just a placeholder for now.  Thanks for the C&C.
