Hi Im in need for a pixel artist who is good at character design/animation and tiles.  Its for a game that has be on hold for 4 weeks because my artist seems to have dissapeared? So ive decided to find another artist.

The games editor is finished and there is a playable version of the game avaliable for you to play.

JOB

----
I need a pixel artist for a commercial game, that will be released on PC\MAC and Linux. the game is a cute action/arcade game, side on, single screen game like bubble bobble and quak (amiga game).

ABOUT ME
------------
Im a REAL Coder (live in the UK), with severals games out already, check out my website http://www.jimmygames.net all the games I coded and did gfx for.
What im most proud of is http://www.alawar.com/games/tweakietweak (Code) and http://www.pushem.ukgamers.net (Code and most gfx).

Ive been in the shareware world for a few years so I know what sells and who to contact (publishers, portals) to get a game sold.

Ive also worked with several gfx artists who live in different countries to myself.

PAYMENT
----------
Im not rich (just finished uni last friday) but can pay $150 USD upfront (to show im seriuos) plus 45% of royaties for EVERY copy sold, around (7$-10$ per sale).

THE GAME (more info can be emailed)
-------------
You play a friendly alien who has to travel to 6 different planets to collect parts from his "Con-Trab-Ulater-Trans-mog-nafier" which is mum through out of his spaces ship when she cleaned his room.

The game is has 6 enviroments (planets) like, aztec, water and forest worlds. There are 13 stages in each the 13th being a boss stage.

Heres some short info about the specs (more info can be emailed). The game will run in 640x480 res, no pallet restrictions, average sprite size is 32x32 some larger 128x128. 6 different tile sets, 9 different enemies (the 6 bosses are larger versions of the smaller enemies), the usualy fruit bonus picks ups, explostions, smoke puffs.

Well thats it, I hope its enough info, any questions please post or email.

If any 1 is interested please email/link me some same work, animations prefered. I will reply to all.

Here are some links to the gfx style i had in mind, but will consider other styles, also can show the work the previous artist did im not posting his work here as im sure.. where ever he is... he would not want me to).

This is the first time I've seen somebody post proper information regarding a paying job. I'm certainly impressed and intrigued. I only wish I did sprites myself.... I excel mostly in iso work only. Sounds like a great and legit opportunity for a pixel artist. Hope you get some good responses :)
