I worked on this for about 2 days on and off... If you guys give me positive feedback I'll make volume 2 but for now im just looking for what I need to improve on.

It's nice. The way you've layed it out however is very confusing, and makes some areas quite messy. The text is almost always not centred inside the speech bubbles, and some of the bubbles just arn't large enough to hold the text. The narration part with the inverted text was also very confusing to me, because i didn't relate it to the frame it was meant to, and therefore was extremely confused with the frame after. Now i realise what it is it's quite cool.
 
I'd also advise against using the double lined borders you are now, as it just adds to the confusion and 'mess'. I think a thick black border would be much easier to read.
 
I like the fact the lightning is coloured, but i must say it looks more like silly-string. Find some references of lighting and try to make it look more like it.

This thread is 3 days old though so i doubt you'll come back to read this. Mowel.

Quite nice style. But I think the rather sloppy lightning ruins it. The yellow is good, slightly Sin City-ish in it's effect, but it's not wavy like that.
