Dragon Hunter ( UBER HIGH LVL) concept armor.
I mainly like the dragon head shoulder pieces

Start from the bottom, work your way up. If you're starting with the coolest and most fun things to make, you'll just get really, really bored by the time you get down to your leather tunics and whatnot. Also, the experience (real life experience, no numerical value) you gain from working on those "low-level" armours will help your high level armours look even cooler.
 
I'd first get a very clear idea of what you're making before you progress to the art phase, anyhow. Make yourself lists of every bit of armour you want created, plan out how many frames each action (i.e walking/attacking/casting etc) will take, factor in the idea that you want multiple races (Decide what the races will look like. If they're shorter/taller, some pieces of armour will have to be redrawn for each race).
 
Figure out what perspective your game will be using (straight on, slightly tilted up/down), as well.
 
If you really wanna finish this project (it WOULD be cool if you did) you've gotta buckle down and be prepared to do even the stuff you don't like doing, and start with that. A very clear idea of what you want also helps.

Im kinda working on many things at one time (ADHD!!)

ive started a list of items and such that progresses from lowest to highest (will post on other topic soon) and the races i forgot to put in there (oops!) so we've got a lot of that done, its just that i like to get some ideas down that are in my head b4 i forget them.
