My first forum post! I've noticed that my animated vampire guy seems to hiccup a little bit where the animation loops. Zoom in and you'll really see it; it's like the first frame of the 32-frame animation plays faster than the rest of it. Look for the tombstone with the head on it, and just when it's disappeared off the right side of the canvas, the jump happens. I've checked and made sure there's no problem with the looping of the background; it slidese by at exactly four pixels per frame, every frame. It's really a matter of uneven timing with that one frame playing a little faster.

Anybody know if this is normal, or a problem with my file, or with the way it was saved, or what? I animated the thing in Adobe Imageready, and all the frames are set to play at the same rate (.1 seconds). It plays nice and even within Imageready, but always has the hiccup in a web browser.

Thanks, pixellers.

This animation is flawless. Some browsers mess the animations a bit. Firefox in particular does this. It looks fine on Safari (perfect), iCab (slow), IE (darker), Firefox (jumpy). These things cannot be controlled on all compys.
