i was just wonedring because other pieces were being accepted, so i just thought there was something wrong with mine. but thanks.

i base my acceptance of pieces like this:
if it is obviously pixel art and very very good, accepted

if it is iffy or not a breathe taking piece, i let it stew in the public queue for atleast 24 hours
while in queue, i let the people decide.  i do this by reading the votes like so (btw, this is all using math...  a yes vote=+1, and a no vote=-1...):

+5 or more, i accept it

if it has a +4 or lower, i dont accept it, i wait for either another admin to accept it, or i wait for it to get more votes

-5 or below, at this point if it is a solid negative with a -5, it is rejected, and at any point if it is -8, i deny it.

i have other variables, but those shall remain top secret...  but you get the jist of it.  other admins may not do it like this, we are all different.

but do like lar said, as you wait do some pixeling, c&c some of the wips, join a collab, pixel some sprites for the PJ game, join the #pixeljoint irc channel and chat...  sometimes it can take a few days for a piece to finally be accepted, but if you keep checking every few minutes it will seem like a lifetime.
