Hi there,

I am working on a platform shooter by the name of Zombie Smash. This project first began about a year ago with the intention of creating a freeware game. However, the project has recently begun anew and will be released as a commercial project for the PC, Mac and Linux platforms.

Information can be found at http://www.zombiesmash.com

At the moment, the team consists of myself doing programming, tile graphics and HUD graphics and another person working on backgrounds. Sound and music designers will be hired when required.

It the moment I am looking for a sprite artist/animator. Duties will include creating and animating in game characters. The size of these sprites will average at around 56x88 in size. The style of the game's graphics is comparible to Super Metroid and the GBA Metroid titles.

Pay will be negotiable as either upon completion of set tasks or by the hour. For the hourly pay option, I am offering US$18.80 per hour. I am estimating that I will need somewhere around 6-8 hours per week of work.

If you are interested in this job, then either contact me in this thread or by email. I can be emailed at eric [at] zombiesmash.com. My MSN address is eric@faind.com if you want to chat. Feel free to sign up for our forums at http://forums.zombiesmash.com

Thanks.

I'm loving the look of the tilesets so far, and, well, zombies are always fun. I'm interested in this project.

Ooh, I just noticed your email address. So you are from fallen angels industries? I love Bernie's games, and Destruction Carnival is a classic click- although, after searching your work, I can't say I've never played any of your actual games.

I'm a little busy with other projects, but if I sort my work out I'll try to contact you within the next few days :)
Listen to what the flower people say...

Most of my time in Fallen Angel Industries was spent writing editorials for freeware game sites and pixelling anime avatars for people. I never actually finished any games for them, but I worked on many projects.

this project sounds really interesting...  I was checking out the site, though and the tiles you put up look a lot like metroid fusion tiles...

The graphical style of the game is heavily inspired by Metroid Fusion.
