I mostly make shmups for some reason. (probably because those wife beating rednecks only buy sports games an no companies can profit from  arcade games anymore)

And because shmups are awesome.

I've done plenty of games... probably only one or two decent ones though. They're really short most of the time too.

I just made one in rpg maker with ripped sprites a long long time ago. Of course I was just messing around, and nobody ever played it.

I've made quite a few, but none of them ever get finished. I may have the largest collection of original game engines known to man.

I may just have a severe lack of perseverence.

RPG is numberwang.

Rule #1: Never start a game that will be too involved to finish.

:)

Attack Force Duo will be my first long game. I'm using seeded algorithems to make levels so I don't have too. This saves time! Immergince can be a great tool aswell an generation with limits. You can let the computer make random levels, and they CAN be original and fun, people are just too dumb to properly set limits for the generation algorithem and call it boring and repetative.  Never write off seeded generation, people are just too stupid when it comes to giving the algo rules. There needs to be a balance between freedom in creation and limits to omit undesired results.
