Definitly need some kind of shaman king cannibal guy, that should be in control of all the little cannibal babies.

How about a monkey that descends from the trees above and:

...eats a banana and trows the peel at you.
...trows a banana or a coconut.
...spits at you.
...eats a banana and spits on you.
...or when you get too close, it just grabs you, pulls you up and slams you on the ground.

And I am thinking of making a canibal shaman or something like that. or maybe the canibals worship the monkeys.

heh, like the cute monkeys in the yoshi game! except they spit watermelon seeds and they're cute :)

looks great Krysis... though the way the head attaches to the body of the monkey seems odd. Could you give us a version with a more proportionate head?

I wasn't sure what exactly do you mean by more proportional, so I tryed 3 different versions.Ver. 1 with smaller heads; ver.2: round-headed; and ver. 3: standart square-headed monkeys with a better head-to-neck connection . Also a added a coconut and a bigger banana.

And how about this! A banana ride! It can be used as one of the folloing:

A jumping pad.
Some sort of health or stamina replenisher.
Some kind of a minigame. using left and right buttons you must keep your balance on it.
A checkpoint, used for saving.
A banana gun?
Or something else.

A snake based on Saboteur's concept and a frog. The frog is animated, but not looped (don't ask) so you might want to refresh the page.

I made a looped version for you.

weird, don't know why the background isn't transparent and why the animation doesn't look right. Never had flash do this to me before, the SWF looks fine.

Larwick inspired me with another idea when he made that man-eating plant thing from mario.. then I thought of zelda and the jungle..

You know in the windwaker, those cool plants that swallow, then spit you out when you're trying to get to the doku leaf?

Maybe he could jump on these like a trampoline..

edit: it looks too 3d compared to the rest of the game, but it's supposed to be a really round bulb.. if it doesn't work out, maybe it could just be a part of the background? (slightly faded colors)
