Today I was playing at the Arcade and I was having a blast playing Eco Fighters! After I came back I wanted to make a game just like it so I got to work on some Aircrafts. Now I have only done about 5 days of Pixel Art overall since I'm new, so heres one Aircraft that is still a WIP that I have been working on for the last 3 hours. I really hope I can pixel some nice graphics so I can put my years of programming to use and make my dream game.
![]() NEW ![]() I'm open to any c&c, thanks! (Please note that I'm fully aware of the barrel tips on the plane are too light, i'll be fixing that in my next edit.) Edited by cpaw88 - 22 October 2006 at 9:23am |

Those guns are jinormous! I dont know if you made them that large just to ensure we dont mistake them for wing bits, but they seem way too large for me. The little needle tips dont help either.
Your light source isnt consistent either. Looks like its from the top shining down on most of it, except the wings.
Other than that, it looks fine. :)

Thanks for the C&C, I fixed the guns and also fixed the lighting on the wings, since it didn't look as if light was above but more forward. I also added engine animations.
This pixel art peice is complete, thanks. (I will not be posting a final product.) Edited by cpaw88 - 22 October 2006 at 6:20pm |

Did somebody call me?
![]() Ok nice start. Make the wings wider and longer. Try to think about how the engines or guns connect to the wing. They feel like they are sitting on the edges you need to make them visually anchored. Basically it looks unabalanced you should make the wings the main focus and the guns or engines should be secondary. YOu have enough space to do some good detail too. Good LUCK!
I have plenty of ships in my gallery if you want to look at them. I'm not the best ever but I have some decent art I think.
EDIT just found out that you were done sorry. Edited by Pixel_Outlaw - 22 October 2006 at 6:59pm |

Thanks for the advice, in my final edit I fixed the wings and my engine animations plus the guns are a lot smaller and look more in place. Thanks again for your time.
