I am currently working for rapidly growing browser based rpg. The site has only been open for the past 6 months and our user count has exploded, but the number of avatar based communities is on the rise and so we need to offer our users more.

So we are looking to start the production of an isometric pixel based avatar chat system. we have found both a style and size that will work for our site:


The Sprites
Users sprites will reflect their avatars, but only the bare minimum of avatar detail. For example here is one of the avatars from our site:

we are not looking to duplicate this avatars' wings and or general clothing, we are however looking to mirror its; skin hair and sex. Our site currently divides users into 3 self selected battle classes:
- archer
- warrior
- wizard
and we wish for these classes to be displayed via the sprites clothing


Tiles and Buildings
We would to build a library of tiles available to us, so we may use then in  our map editor, and these will need to consist of:
- a town tile set
- inner buildings (varying designs)
- more later on in the project

the actual area that the system will be based on is already sketched out as are a number of buildings that populate the town:

this is only the start to a much larger project and we ask that only people who are available in the future apply, as we would like to keep the same artists working throughout the project
