We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic 2D/Pixel Artist to work with one of the UK's leading mobile developers.  Their catalogue includes titles based on many great gaming, film and TV franchises.

This is a permanent position with a great Salary.  The position is based in the UK.

Essential responsibilities and duties

Projects - actively participate in all stages of a project life cycle in conjunction with the full project team (design, code, QA, etc). This includes pre-production game development (accurate estimates, art implemented as requested), and smooth/timely handover into porting. Ensure all project deliverables are maintained to appropriate standards.

Art Creation - understand and apply "best practices". This includes the creation of the highest quality art assets within the limitations set down by the team. Creating the right quality of assets and understanding the limitations of mobile game development. Working with the coding team to improve the art pipeline and delivering the art at the right time to support the game development. Working with marketing to supply marketing material to support the release of the game.

Please note industry experience while helpful is not essential - the most important factor is the quality of work.
