Message

Recently a highly unprofessional upcoming gaming company ("HyrdoIsland") has on numerous occasions stolen art from my project, SokuCity LLC. I have no doubt that not only my graphics were stolen; Please review the following image and report anything that might appear stolen/ripped, so the original artists can be contacted and take the appropriate action for this company's misconduct.

	Go ahead and post a link to the company please. Also please prove that you are not trying to cause strife with this company. I want to believe you, these things do happen but we need to act on proof if any community member is going to act.

	this site sounds alot like JabbaTown, another site that mimics HabboHotel. I was recently in talks with the "company" and tried to negotiate a contract to do some art for them. After much time passed, I realized that the deposit was never going to be sent. In any case, the excuses used in both JabbaTown and HydroIsland posts sound similar... almost TOO similar. Personally, it has put me off working with any mmocc altogether.

	That's a teriible thing. The posts by them sure sounds a like a lot of excuses. I never get a good vibe from any mmocc's that have asked me. That #6 looks like some WIP thread from a few months ago. 	hai. i am randm_guy22 and me and sum budz aer making this game. its like. online and all kewl nd stuff. but we liek. need sum gfx and you are kewl. and then. then we were thinking like kewl game + kewl art = win so like. would you do all the art for no pay unguaranteed of a complete project cuz we is new to this too, lol. o ya, if u don't ur not kewl anymore. kthxbye

	This thread is a bit out of date but I had just found it as I was googling HydroIsland I assure you the art was not stolen from Soku City as the sprite was made by there artists partner. I recently spoke with him and he said he had copied it by eye because he likes the style. We now have different sprites under going work. #6 as many of you also think was stolen was made by Sismo Studios as a sample. It was discarded as it does not fit our style. Also none of you have pointed out that #1 was also stolen. All of the art above has been trashed besides #3. Also snader is not a part of our project and made that post to try and make a fool of my company. I hope I cleared things up.

As the artist told me Kayser who is Iries partner in making a game Irie is Soku's artist and Kayser made #4 that resembles Soku's sprite because he likes the style. He told me when he was making it he showed Irie previews and she did'nt say anything so he though there was no problem. We are not using them and truly "I" was not planning on it anyway. We have choosen a set sprite and are correctly paying for every view. I hope I have answered you question you can view a preview of our avatar here.

	I'd say snader was just mocking MMOCCs in general. Take a look at the Job Offerings section of these forums and you'll see that 80% of the threads posted are unpaid jobs for Habbo clones.
