How do you make an animation (.gif) have a transparent background!? I need help!

Usually one makes the frames transparent and then puts them in their gif maker, but this varies from program to program. We can help you more if you tell us which you're using.

I use Microsoft .GIF animator and normally what I do is color the background of my frames with a obscure color like bright green or blue in Photoshop and then in Animator you can select transparent background and the color of the transparency.
It will bring up your image's palatte and all you need to do is pick the color you assigned for the background. You will need to do this for each frame indivigually Edited by NMEwithin - 18 January 2007 at 7:13pm |
