![]() There's a little something I made. I posted it here, cause i'm not quite sure if its done or not, I like it, and im quite proud of the dithering I used its the first time i used such a complex dithering. I would most gladly appreciated C+C |

i don't think that the grey you used fits to the image... it makes that part of the demon look as if it where made of bones or something like that.

I think the dither has a very granular texture on our right side of his face. You might want to consider making the colors more similar to decrease the effect, as it looks almost as if the piece is being viewed through a 50% grey dither "screen" in the areas where you have the interlaced dither of green and red. One other little quirk I noticed: You use purple dithering as a buffer tone against black everywhere but the chin and front of the neck. Is this intentional in order to create the focus of the piece (not sure why you would want people to be staring at his chin though) or is it accidental?

Hmm they grey doesnt look good to me... seems like alot of work... however the rest and the red is great! I really like it... but that grey is just too grey...

its a greenish tinted gray.
i think you're using too contrasty colours next to eachother

In this case a complementary contrast (red and green) It forces the eye to create a color inbetween the two to make compensate for the massive contrast. Pretty much the same technique that neo-impressionists used. |
