Zoonami Ltd is a small and dynamic independent games developer based in the beautiful town of Cambridge, 50 minutes from London by train.

We are currently looking for a senior artist to join our team in a casual and friendly working environment. The position is exceptional as it involves a broad range of disciplines including character and world design, art creation, direction, production and management, as well as the opportunity to help shape projects from the early stages.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive portfolio of diverse styles with demonstrable and substantial examples of current and past work.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with key team members to develop the look and feel of each project
- Clearly communicate the artistic vision of a project to all relevant stakeholders
- Set and maintain art quality standards
- Undertake modelling, texturing, animation, high-resolution and low-resolution work as dictated by the project
- Create the highest quality art assets for each project
- Deliver art assets in a timely manner to support project development
- Work with the coding team to improve the art pipeline to benefit project quality and time
- Determine asset completion assessment
- Input into technology features and game design throughout production

Requirements:
- 3-5 years of art creation experience including extensive experience with Photoshop, Illustrator (or other design software), and 3ds Max or equivalent
- Strong skills at every level from concept and design through to creation and technical implementation
- Knowledge of cutting edge artistic techniques and tools and the ability to use them
- Good understanding and sense of layout, composition, color, typography
- Strong traditional art skills
- Creativity in generating new visual styles
