Blix City - Careers - Pixel Designer Application
Blix City is a non-for-profit IMCE (Isometric Multi-User Chat Environment) based on the MMOCC (Massive Multiplayer Online Chat Community) market. Blix City is a virtual city on the internet and caters mainly to kids from ages 13-17. We are currently looking for an experienced, well-qualified 2d isometric pixel designer to assist us in our effort to bring a fun and safe alternative to online activity. Blix City has a version 1 release, and we are very close to releasing our second version.


Job Description:
The pixel designer will be responsible for creating or editing/enhancing 2d isometric pixel designs. Designers will be paid per item they create, and this price is to be discussed by the pixel designer and BlixCity.com


Main duties:
-Creating pixel designs
-Editing/enhancing pixel designs
-Posting updates for the pixel designs in specific areas on the Community Forum

Required Skills/Items:
All applicants should possess the following skills. Valid proof, (example: references from past/current employers, examples of past work, etc) should be present with your application.
-Must be at least 16 years or older;
-2d isometric pixel design experience;
-Fluent English, written and spoken;  
-A calm and cool exterior;
-Advanced problem-solving skills;
-A cell phone and/or home phone number;
-A working computer with DSL or faster internet connection;


Desired Skills/Items:
The following skills are desired by the employer, however, the applicant need not posses these skills and/or achievements.
-Fluent in a language other than English;
-Experience with vBulletin forums (for our community forums to interact with users);
-Customer Service experience
