Is using the hue/saturation/lightness shifter allowed to be used in pixel art to adjust the palette or not?

Thankyou! Another question! Are it ok if you "Break the fourth wall" in a pixel?

So I guess it's alright (?), but some more explanation on SoulChild's part would be nice.

Google's Defenition : Specifically in a proscenium theater, the term fourth wall applies to the imaginary invisible wall at the front of the stage in a theater through which the audience sees the action in the world of the play. In an arena theater, or theater-in-the-round, all four walls are in effect "fourth walls." One also speaks of a fourth wall in fictional realms, in literature, movies, television, radio, comic books, and other forms of entertainment. And i mean, like if you have a comic pixel. Could a character talk to you! If i'm making sense? Edited by SoulChild - 28 June 2007 at 1:33pm |

Of course they could talk to you. Pixel art is a medium, not an ideology. It's not as if someone could decree that all paintings must be primarily red or that all pixel art must not break the fourth wall or anything else that applies to the content and subject matter of the art and not the technique.
