Whenever I am going about creating pixel art, I usually choose the colour which I find most suited to a particular area, and it usually works out fine, but the end piece just doesn't say wow to me.
On looking through the galleries, I often see people making excellent use of their palette without even necessarily sticking to 'real world' colours. So my question is, how do you go about selecting suitable colours for your pixel art? |

this would help me too, I do the same thing with my colors (though I think I'm getting better)
